About my digital art...

Professionally, I'm a programmer. However, I'm really not interested in programming things that don't look fascinating and inviting and artful. That's how all of this started, really. I could draw and design some stuff since childhood, but making cool-looking interfaces is what made me want to keep my design skills fresh! - In Photoshop, Flash, Fireworks, AfterEffects, and various 3D packages such as Cheetah3D and Untiy3D. I don't have the classical training of a graphic designer, and some of that may show through, but I enjoy making digital art, and it's a great complement to the programming side of things. :)

I understand that trends sometimes don't allow for such science-fiction-looking art, like for instance for a corporate site or a consumer review site. And, that's understandable, and that's not my market. But, it's this type of art that inspires me, and I hope to be able to continue to hone my skillset. As my friends know, when asked what movie I want to watch, I'll always lean towards the one that's gonna have the most awesome user interfaces in it ;). The more surreal and futuristic, the better.

Most of these had quite a bit of animation to them. I hope to be able to put up video of them soon.
